Industrious midfielder Curtis Durose joined The Blues over the summer after departing fellow NPL Midlands Division One side Basford United, for whom he made 29 appearances for last term.Progressing through the ranks at Football League side Rotherham United, Curtis made an appearance in the Football League trophy, against Premier League giants Manchester City in the 2021/22 season in October 2021, in a game The Millers, who eventually went on to win the tournament, won 5-0.
Durose, who also had a spell in the National league North with Scarborough Athletic, made his Blues debut in our FA Cup extra preliminary round victory at Leicester Nirvana in August 2026. Joining a a late substitute, he wasted little time making an impact, providing the assist for James Taylor to score the winning goal in the last minute of the game.
