An ex-professional with Championship club Derby County, Cole returned to the club in November 2023 as player / assistant manager, 7 years after departing the club previously.
Cole made 19 appearances in the National League for Stockport County and Barrow in 2011,12 and 13.
Cole made 9 starts for us in the 23/24 season at step 3 level, but has made just a handful of appearances since, being able to concentrate on his role in the dugout alongside Brad Munn.
His connection with the club started back in 2014, making his debut against Walsall Wood in a league game on 29th November 2014. In total, Cole has amassed just shy of 90 Blue appearances over 6 seasons connected to the club.
