Defender Luke Williamson impressed Blues boss Brad Munn after being named Sandiacre Town player of the month for both September and October last season, and began training with The Blues.

Williamson did enough to earn a dual-registration with us at the end of last year, but didn't feature in a matchday squad.

Formerly of Newark & Sherwood, Luke made 35 appearances for Sandiacre last season, bagging a couple of goals in the process, before linking back up with us in the summer.

He made his Blues debut, coming on as a substitute at Shepshed Dynamo in our opening league game of 26/27, and will be hoping to force his way into the team on a more regular basis throughout 26/27.
