Jayden Cotterill signed for Long Eaton United in July 2024 after a successful period on trial with the club.

A former scholar and professional with Football League side Burton Albion, the 27-year-old can play at full back or centre half.

In 2017, whilst at Burton Albion, Jayden trained with the England national side, along with a couple of other young Brewers players who were invited along to fill in for injured senior players at St George's Park.

Jayden enjoyed a hugely consistent 24/25 season, playing in 45 out of 46 games for the club, and earning the 'Players Player Award' - recognition of the respect he earned from his teammates as he was a key player in our Play-Off campaign.

He enjoyed another consistent season in 25/26 - featuring in 45 of our 47 league and cup games, and completing 43 games - no player completed more throughout the season.

He also got on the scoresheet last term, netting 3 goals.

He has forged an excellent partnership in the heart of our defence with Gianluca Bucci.
