Ridgley is a product of Basford United's academy system, he was involved at the tail end of the 2022/23 season thanks to his stand-out performances at youth level.He then signed his first senior contract with Basford, before spending time on loan at Loughborough Dynamo.
The young and versatile full-back joined the Blues on loan from Basford during the 2023/24 season.
