Bedworth United vs Long Eaton United
Northern Premier League - Midlands Division
31/01/25 – 15:00 KO
Tomorrow, we travel to the east of Birmingham to face Bedworth United.
This will be our second game against the Greenbacks – our first game ended 1-0 in our favour with Evan Garnett scoring in the 91st minute.
The win came at the end of a difficult spell for the Blues as they endured a losing streak of four games.
The boys enjoyed a good rest with our fixture against Rugby Borough on Tuesday 27 being postponed (again).
Before that, we beat AFC Rushden & Diamonds 3-1 with goals from Jahvan Davidson-Miller, Elliot Hartmann and Tristan Thompson-Matthews.
Bedworth United have played three games so far this month.
They enjoyed wins against Coventry Sphinx (2-1 on New Years Day) and Rugby Borough (2-0 on the 17th).
However, their most recent game saw them defeated at home by Shepshed Dynamo 4-1 last Saturday.
The Greenbacks sit 21st in the league, five points from safety. They won six, drawn five and lost 16.
They scored 26 and conceded 41 goals.
Brad Munn ahead of this game:
“It is a great opportunity to show how far we’ve came since out first encounter.
“We have to pick up where we left off against Rushden.”
