The Blues will be looking get back to winning ways on Tuesday night as we make the short journey south to face Loughborough Students.

Brad Munn’s side will be looking to right the wrongs of Saturday after the 4-0 loss at home to Racing Club Warwick.

Loughborough will be fresh for this one as they were granted a weekend off, with their last game being a 1-0 win over Coventry Sphinx on Saturday 27th September. Tobenna Ikegwuonu scored the winner in the 39th minute. It was an impressive win by The Scholars as Sphinx are currently 4th in the league.

In fact, Loughborough Students head into Tuesday night’s game unbeaten in their previous three in the league. Prior to the win over Coventry Sphinx, The Scholars drew 2-2 at home to Sutton Coldfield Town and Rugby Town.

This will be Loughborough’s fourth straight home match.

The Blues will have to be wary of Hussein Issa as he has four goals in his last four appearances.

Loughborough Students are currently in 19th position in the league however are on the up after their most recent results.

The Blues are situated in 15th spot, a point above Loughborough.

There are positives for Long Eaton to take into the game on Tuesday night as Cieron Keane and Gianluca Bucci will return from suspension.

Brad hinted in his post-match interview after the Racing Club Warwick defeat that changes will be made to the side for the Loughborough clash.

It is a double header at the Family Only Stadium after Tuesday’s game as we host Bedworth United on Saturday afternoon and then Boldmere St Michaels on Tuesday the 14th of October.
