Since signing on loan from The Gladiators in December, Wright has started in 18 consecutive matches becoming a mainstay in The Blues midfield.
The 27-year-old scored his first goal for the club in a 2-2 draw against Gresley Rovers in the Derbyshire Senior Cup Quarter-Finals at Grange Park.
Wright has a wealth of experience at Step Three and is now in his third spell at parent club Matlock Town.
A former Chesterfield youth footballer and professional at Lincoln City, Wright has previously played for Grantham Town, Coalville Town – where he scored 17 times in one season – and Mickleover.
Last season Wright captained Gainsborough Trinity to the Northern Premier League play-offs and rejoined Matlock in the summer.
