Trio sign for Long Eaton United

Bradley White12 Aug 2024 - 17:16

Long Eaton United is delighted to announce the arrival of Cian Zamboglou, Ethan Hulley and Connor Pace (pictured).

Ethan Hulley and Cian Zamboglou were in the team that travelled to Wellingborough at the weekend and Connor Pace rejoins the squad for tomorrow night's match against Quorn at the Family Only Stadium, Grange Park.

Commenting on the addition of midfielder Zamboglou, first-team manager Brad Munn said: "[Cian is] a good young prospect that has spent some time around the youth ranks at chesterfield. A versatile no-nonsense style that we are hoping to shape to play at the level. He will fit the plan of younger players capable that we may look to dual-register out whilst training with us to progress him quicker."

Talking us through the addition of Hulley, Munn said: "Ethan is a versatile player who scored on his pre-season debut against Belper and got himself a start in the first league game. He can play across all parts of the forward line and his energy and attitude first and foremost is what made it make sense to bring him in. He is aware of what he needs to do to take a spot within the squad and understand this so far has started fantastic and long may it continue."

Finally, on the latest arrival Pace, Munn added: "The former Burton Albion youth team product came with decent recommendation when not actively looking to bolster that position in midfield; however, our environment mixed with his attitude and ability made things quickly change to integrate him as part of this new look squad. We were all impressed with his displays against Mansfield and Chesterfield which was then followed up with a positive performance against Belper.

"I’m really excited to see what we can get out of Connor and hopefully he can grow with us throughout the season.

"Welcome all three in to the fold, pleasure to have you all."
