Pleased to confirm the centre half's inclusion in next season's squad, First-team manager Brad Munn said: "We as a management team and club are delighted to have agreed to keep Riece at the club.

"It was a no brainer, especially with a campaign at step 4 incoming. His record at the level speaks for itself and with a new dressing room I think he takes himself to a new level moving forward."

Munn added: "He wants to bring the best out of himself moving forward and we want to make sure we get the best out of him.

Bertram is the longest serving player at the club having joined The Blues in December 2022. His appearance up front against Leiston in the final game of last season brought his total number of games played for United up to 55.
