After almost two weeks without a game due to the recent freezing conditions, The Blues will aim to pick-up from where they left off as they enter the Quarter-Final stage of the County Cup.
In the last round, a moment of individual brilliance from Blues’ striker Ben Hutchinson knocked Northern Premier League side Mickleover out of the competition and saw Long Eaton United progress.
The Opposition:
The Bucks progressed to the current round of the competition after a 1-2 win away to Northern Premier League side Matlock Town.
It has been over a decade since the nine-time winners last lifted the Derbyshire Senior Cup; however, almost 47 years have passed since two-time winners Long Eaton United won the competition.
Buxton come into the match on the back of a 3-0 win against Peterborough Sports just over two-weeks ago and sit in 18th place after appointing former Matlock Town manager Craig Elliott on the 11th December.
