Former Long Eaton United manager Mick Galloway has returned to the club in a coaching capacity assisting Rickford and Mushambi.

Galloway was at the club between 2011 and 2013 initially as coach before taking over as manager. In the past he played for Notts County and Chesterfield.

He resigned in 2013 due to work commitments with the Blues 13th in the NCEL Premier Division.

Galloway has a wealth of experience in coaching and will boost the training ahead of Saturday's game against Heanor Town.

Coincidentally his last game in his previous spell (April 2013) at the club would have been at The Lions but it was postponed.
