Following on from Saturday's impressive 6-1 win over Shardlow FC at Rolls Royce - United come up against Derbyshire Rivals Ilkeston FC at Grange Park this Saturday the 19th July.

Ilkeston, of the Evo-stick Northern Premier Division lost 4-0 at home to Nottingham Forest at the weekend but in all accounts played extremely well and the result flattered the visitors.

The game will see the return of the Robins to Grange Park where the two sides battled it out in the league only a few years ago. Ilkeston have since climbed up the football pyramid as well as being reformed and will be looking to improve on last seasons mid table position to fighting nearer the top end of the division.

The game this Saturday may well be United's only home friendly this pre-season as the games in August have both been removed due to the earlier start to the Midland Football League.

Tickets for the game are priced at £5 and £3 concessions. Kick Off 3pm

The club would like to point out that work is still being carried out on the complete refurbishment of the clubhouse, however there will be food on sale as well as a bar for the fixture.
