Belgrave has been training with the Long Eaton United squad in recent weeks and will be available for selection when we travel to St Ives Town at the weekend.

Discussing the move, Belgrave said: "I'm buzzing honestly, I’ve been out for two, three months nearly but I’ve done all my physio with Jake [Nicholson] and this is my third training session, so I just want to get on the pitch now."

The midfielder joins from local rivals Gresley Rovers and has previously played at Step Three with Mickleover, where he became the youngest player to ever captain The Sports at just 17 years old in 2016.

"I played at this level when I was a lot younger," Belgrave added: "I can’t wait to test myself again."

Belgrave is no stranger to Grange Park having played against The Blues in the Emirates FA Cup last season with Sherwood Colliery and, most recently, in this summer's pre-season fixture with Gresley.

"I’ve been here a few times before but only in the away dressing room," Belgrave said: "I love it here, the pitch is usually quality and the facilities, changing rooms, bar, everything is spot on.

"And you have this as well," Belgrave said as he pointed to the 3G training pitch: "it’s a nice place to train, and the lads are amazing."
