Long Eaton Utd Ladies are pleased to announce their Preseason Schedule as the Blues look to prepare for their league campaign beginning on 2nd September. The Blues will travel to Nottingham on the 25th and 26th of July to play in the 11 a side New Balance International Cup which will see 225 teams from 18 nations compete, before travelling to Leicester City Women the week after. The Blues will then play their first home game of the season taking on Radcliffe Olympic the following week, before 2 final pre season home games against Hasland and Derby County Reserves ready for the season starting the following week.

25th/26th- 11 a side International Cup
2nd Aug- Leicester Women (A)
9th Aug- Radcliffe Olympic (H)
16th Aug- Hasland CFC Ladies
23rd Aug- Derby County Reserves

Manager Charlotte Healy said “We’re delighted to get some high quality preseason fixtures in. The 11 a side International Tournament is a great opportunity for us to try out different systems and give the players some game time. We’ve set ourselves goals this season so it’s important we test ourselves against tough opposition and its great to get 3 Women’s Premier League Teams booked in as well as the opportunity to play International Teams. We’ve made some good additions to our squad already and after a really good few weeks of training it’ll be great to see the girls out on the pitch as we prepare for the start of the season. If you get a good run in the Cups it can be a long season so its great to have the squad depth we now have. On paper its the strongest squad we’ve had for a long time so with a few last minute additions we’re still hoping to add we’ll be in a good place come the start of the season, we’re really excited for the season to start!'
