FULL TIME COMMUNITY FOOTBALL OFFICER OPPORTUNITY

LONG EATON UNITED FOOTBALL CLUB - FULL TIME COMMUNITY FOOTBALL OFFICER

SALARY RANGE: £23-26,000 PA

Long Eaton United Football Club is looking to recruit a full time Community Football Officer to support and deliver the Clubs Football Development Plan.

The Community Football Officer will have specific responsibility for overseeing the management and development of the Clubs new 3G Astro Turf Pitch (“ATP”) as well as our existing playing facilities and also take responsibility for overseeing the management of the Club’s Academy; a prime user of the new 3G facility.

The Community Football Officer (“CFO) will be a key member of the clubs Football Steering Group (“FSG”) and report directly to the Board.

The role will encompass the following;

Facilities management
Growth and retention
Training & Development
Health & Safety
Raising standards and improving behaviour
Marketing, PR & Communications

To apply you need to be of graduate calibre with experience in football/sports development and an understanding of the FA’s National Game Strategy.

You need to be passionate about and committed to the development of football at a local level and be able to work under pressure, handle multiple priorities and meet appropriate deadlines. You will need to be able to demonstrate both team working skills as well as the ability to work unsupervised .

Candidates will be expected to have excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills as well as having excellent IT and social media capabilities.

You will need a current driving licence, your own transport, hold at least 1st4 Sport Level 2 Certificate in Coaching Football with a willingness to progress those skills further and able to work both evenings and week-ends.
