Scarborough have taken maximum points from four league games and visit Grange Park tomorrow.
Long Eaton saw their own unbeaten league start ended on Tuesday night when a late goal sent them to a 1-0 home defeat against reigning champions Retford United
However, Galloway could not criticise the Blues' performance.
"I said to the lads that I can accept getting beaten when they play like that," he said.
"The work ethic and application was brilliant and that goes for everyone, one to 11 and the subs.
"We won 2-0 at Lincoln (Moorlands Railway) last Saturday but our performance against Retford was better.
"Scarborough are strong and are going to be up there come the end of the season.
"But if we apply ourselves as we did against Retford, who knows, maybe we can take a point or three."
Wide midfielder Danny Gordon has returned to Long Eaton after a spell with Arnold Town and featured as a substitute against Retford.
