Long Eaton United can confirm that Brad Munn will remain in charge as first-team manager for the forthcoming season!

We hope to continue this into the new season with optimism and a team that represents this football club top to bottom.

Munn has spent the last eight months with The Blues and will be joined in the dugout by Aaron Cole who continues his role as assistant manager.

Commenting on the announcement, club chairman Nick Dargan said: “We are delighted to confirm that Brad Munn will again be in charge along with his existing management team.

“Our newly appointed Football Steering Group has seen enough development of the squad and performances over the second half of the season to offer Brad and his team the opportunity of having a strong pre-season and the chance to put together their own group of players to be competitive going forwards.”

Speaking in his programme column, Brad Munn said of the confirmation: “Firstly, I’d like to thank everyone who has stood by us all the way this year on what has been a truly unique and challenging season that’s certainly had its ups and downs.

“The support away at Stamford was second to none and the management and players want to thank everyone who came out. We hope to continue this into the new season with optimism and a team that represents this football club top to bottom.

“That leads me on to say how delighted I am to be taking the club into a new season. In Aaron Cole I’ve got someone who I can count on as an assistant but also has a deeper connection with the club from past playing days.”
