The game came at a good time, with Long Eaton Utd's season beginning this Sunday with an away trip to Ellistown, it was a great occasion to give the whole squad a run out as they begin to fight for their places for the 2014-2015 season.

The squad featured 5 new players who made their debuts for the club tonight- Laura Sears, Alice Forfar, Lucy Smale, Emily Dainty, Jess Attenborough as well as a return to the club for Centre Forward Kim Evans and Centre Back Aime Bramman.

Long Eaton displayed a pleasing performance, running out comfortable 3-0 cup winners on the night, thanks to goals from Alice Forfar, Laura Sears and Kim Evans.
