LONG EATON UNITED FOOTBALL FESTIVAL - SATURDAY 11th & SUNDAY 12th MAY 2013
Following the positive feedback from last season’s Long Eaton United FC Mini-Soccer
Tournament, we are delighted to invite you to enter teams from your Club again this year;

! U7’s Saturday 11th May (AM)! ! ! U8’s Saturday 11th May (PM)
! U9’s Sunday 12th May (AM)! ! ! U10’s Sunday 12th May (PM)

Normal mini-soccer rules will apply with games being 7 aside on 60x40 pitches on our First Team pitch giving an excellent playing surface for the players, access to the Main Stand and Clubhouse
Facilities and the extremely popular “introduction” of all teams onto the pitch via the Players Tunnel, in view of the parents and supporters in the Main Stand.
U7’s and U8’s will play a series of non-competitive games with awards for fair play at the end when all players will be invited to come out again through the tunnel onto the playing area to receive their mementos for taking part.
We hope to have the U9’s and U10’s playing in 4 groups of 4 teams with the top 2 from each group playing quarter, semi, 3rd & 4th place play offs and final for the “Cup” and the remaining 2 from each group playing the same for the “Plate”. Trophies will be presented to the Finalists, again coming out onto the pitch via the tunnel.
Should you wish to enter a team or teams, please complete the enclosed application form and return to the address below along with the entry fee of £30 - acceptance will be on a first come, first served basis and no refunds given the entry is likely to be restricted.
Parking at Grange Park will cost £2 per vehicle and will include a programme. There will be hot food, hot and cold drinks, ice creams and confectionery available in the Clubhouse and the Bar will be open with alcohol restricted to the Bar area. Please note no BBQ’s or alcohol will be allowed to be brought onto the site.
