Long Eaton United FC are on the lookout for a new ladies development team manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and committed coach/manager to join Long Eaton United FC Ladies section as Development Team Manager. The team currently play in the FA Women’s Premier League Reserve Midlands League and are looking to recruit a manager to build on the foundations laid from the Development teams first season at this level last year.

The new manager will play an integral part in the running of the whole ladies section of the club and will work closely with the current first team management team to ensure effective running of the whole ladies section and the development of players across both teams.

Both teams are based at Grange Park, and currently train on a Wednesday evening 7pm-9pm. The ladies section is part of Long Eaton United Football Club which is a FA Charter Standard Community Football Club based in Long Eaton, Derbyshire. We have 300+ members, 18 junior/youth teams, 2 development teams (1 male, 1 female), 2 senior teams (1 male, 1 female) and an academy. The club in recent years has had some redevelopments which has included refurbishment of the clubhouse, a new 11 a side pitch and new stadium pitch surroundings (which the ladies teams play on along with the Men’s first team and development team). As a club we are currently working to install a brand new, state of the art, full sized, floodlit, 4G playing and training pitch at Grange Park, with the planning application submitted on 15th December 2017.

A DBS check will be provided by the club upon the position being filled and further coaching/management education can be offered for those who show commitment to the club.
