Bennett names ladies backroom staff for 2018-19 season

Kieron Wicks and Rich Green have joined the Blues from Derby County Ladies where the pair worked under Bennett last season.

New LEUFC Manager has spoken of his delight after naming his backroom staff for the coming season.

Head Coach Kieron Wicks who is a qualified A license coach will lead on all aspects of training delivery.

Also joining the coaching staff will be Rich Green in the role of Assistant Manager.

Speaking on the appointments
Bennett said “ I’m delighted that Kieron and Rich have joined me at Long Eaton. Kieron is a first class coach who will have a fantastic rapport with the players but at the same time will demand high standards and quality from the players who I’m sure will respond to his methods to improve and take the group to the next level. Rich will be a trusted number 2 and will also give a different dimension with his quality work with our attacking players. He is very experienced at this level having been promoted with Leicester City Woman The coaching synergy will be vital as we look to implement our team philosophy for the coming season and I’m delighted with the two additions for the forthcoming campaign"
