The Blues go into Saturdays match at home to Shirebrook with a slight worry over Mick Allsop. The Club Captain is still recovering from an operation to his ankle and a recent three week cruise. On the plus side, Nathan Watson came through training on Tuesday and looks likely to be involved in Saturday's match against his old team. Kelvin Mushambi has been having knee problems but should be alright.
There is a possibility that manager Glyn Stacey could have a new face for Saturday but he has to wait for the 7 day notice to expire before contacting the player. Glyn has been targetting the center half position that has been a problem since Dean Whiley's injury and Mick Allsops operation.
We have been drawn at home to New Mills Fc of the Vodkat League...http://www.vodkatleague.com/....who are currently 2nd. This is highly likely to be played on the 15th December although this will have to be confirmed. To find out about New Mills FC visit....http://newmillsafc.co.uk/home.htm
Finally the Club are looking for help in advertising the forthcoming 1st, Reserve, Ladies and Under 19 matches around town and in the Clubhouse. This is a voluntry position although any expenses would be covered. Anyone willing to give some time for this should approach Keri Rout or Jim Fairley.
