Mark and Willis bring a wealth of experience from both the professional and semi-professional game and have a great network of local players to add to the exciting pipe-line of young talent being brought through our new academy and U18’s development squad.

Mark and Willis have been part of the highly successful Basford United management and coaching team in recent years and are both UEFA B qualified coaches. Mark was also assistant manager at Carlton Town when they finished runners-up in the Evo-stik Division 1 South.

Their appointment will allow Steve Welsh to concentrate full-time on the important role of developing our academy players along with Paul Holland and establishing a top young reserve team for season 2018/19 that will provide great support for the first team.
