Sponsorship please
Hello all!
I'm doing the Nottingham Half Marathon again on 13th Sept and raising money for the Lewis Mighty Fund. Lewis is a 4 year-old boy who has neuroblastoma - a rare form of childhood cancer. His parents are trying to raise £300,000 to send him to America for treatment that will significantly increase his chances of survival.
I will be bugging everyone for money over the coming weeks - so ensure I don't have to bug you too much by putting your hand in your pocket straight away (I'm donating too!).
Even the price of a pint will help, so please give generously.

Collecting money now!
Thanks to everyone that has sponsored me. I am now collecting money, so please ensure you have it on you over the coming weeks. Alternatively, people may leave the money behind the bar (or give to Jim). Please put it in an envelope, with your name on.
Also, if anyone else would like to donate (I wasn't able to get round everyone), you can let me know on this forum. I will need full name, address and postcode for giftaid purposes or, as above, you could leave the money with Jim, ensuring that your full details are on the envelope.

Thanks to everyone that sponsored me. The total raised was £710.
Lewis is currently undergoing intensive radiotherapy in London but his parents still need to raise £300k to send him to America for treatment that will increase his chances of survival. They have so far raised £70k, which is great but there's obviously still a long way to go.
If anybody has any good ideas to how we can raise money or knows anyone that is planning to raise money for charity please ask them to consider doing it for Lewis.
